A round of applause for the sauce

Let’s be honest, the star of the show here is the aioli. You can pair pretty much any vegetable, noodle, or protein with it but whatever you do, don’t hold back on the sauce.

Aioli

2 tbsp gochujang
2 tbsp mayo
2 tbsp tahini
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp lime leaves, minced
1 tsp ginger, grated
2 tsp garlic, grated

Broccolini

2 bunches broccolini
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp aioli
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
1-2 green onions, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together aioli ingredients.

  3. On a baking sheet, toss broccolini with oil, 2 tbsp aioli, salt and pepper.

  4. Roast 15-20 minutes, until cooked and lightly charred.

  5. Garnish with extra sauce, toasted sesame seeds, and chopped scallions. Enjoy!

Note: This recipe can easily be made vegan. Sub vegan mayo (like Follow Your Heart Vegenaise) for regular.
